Before the project, there is the animal.
The hardest part of a first project is finding the right animal, and it usually happens through word of mouth and a two hour drive on somebody's maybe. The AG Life breeder directory puts what people have in one place: photos, breed, sex, birth date, what it weighed and when, and the price.
Looking for one
Search by breed, by name, or by how far you are willing to drive. Breeders post litters that are not born yet, so you can put your hand up early.

You buy straight from the breeder. AG Life does not take any money and does not check anybody on the list, so go and see the animal in person, with a parent, before you pay for it.

Nobody has a list of judges. Now somebody does.
Booking a judge happens in a group thread and a chain of phone calls, so the same few names go round and everybody else waits to be discovered. AG Life puts judges in one place: what they judge, how far they will travel, who has approved them, and what they look for in a ring.
